The Greek Heroes
Illustrated by Flint, William Russell, Kingsley, Charles, Mars, E., Robinson, T. H., Squire, M. H.
Kingsley was a romantic British writer of the Victorian age. In this children's book he focuses on only three Greek heroes: Perseus, Jason, and Theseus. This allows him to tell their stories in detail with great interest. Like many Victorians, Kingsley was a moralist and his rendition develops the heroes in considerable depth.
