A Tale of The Crusades The story of Cuthbert de Lance, a teenage page for an English nobleman, as he follows King Richard to the Holy Land during the Third Crusade. Henty places Cuthbert at many pivotal events during the crusade giving the reader a first hand account of the action. As always, Henty does an excellent job of blending fiction with historical facts giving the reader a great story and a better understanding of medieval history.
