Cock Robin
Illustrated by Cooney, Barbara
This beautiful picture book brings to life the classic, whimsical, and poignant 18th-century nursery rhyme. Beloved Caldecott Medalist Barbara Cooney lends her signature lightness of touch to the full story—chronicling the joyful courtship and wedding feast of Cock Robin and Jenny Wren, before taking a dramatic turn to the mock funeral and burial managed by the forest's bird community.
