Barnaby Rudge
Illustrated by Cattermole, George
Originally published as a serial in “Master Humphrey's Clock” between 1840–1841, Dickens historical novel “Barnaby Rudge: A Tale of the Riots of Eighty” is mainly set during the Gordon Riots of 1780, several days of rioting in Great Britain sparked by anti-Catholic sentiment. Highly recommended for fans of historical fiction and the much-loved work of Charles Dickens.
