Anatole
by Titus, Eve
Illustrated by Galdone, Paul
Anatole is a most honorable mouse. When he learns that humans consider mice a disgrace, he resolves to earn his keep. Each night he slips into the Duval Cheese Factory and leaves little notes telling which cheeses are good and which could be improved. His advice soon makes Duval's cheeses the finest in all Paris—but no one at the factory knows the identity of their mysterious taster.
