A Child's Book of Warriors
Illustrated by Cole, Herbert
Canton's Book of Warriors is a collection of stories about famous warriors from different cultures and time periods. Although all of Canton's stories are based on Christian heroes, they frequently include supernatural elements that are used to illustrate greater Christian truths. Saint Olaf, Charlemagne, Justinian, Alfred the Great, Julius Caesar, King Arthur, and Genghis Khan are some of the heroes included in this work. The stories are written in a simple and engaging style that is easy for children to understand. The book covers a wide range of cultures and time periods and provides an insight into the life and achievements of each warrior, as well as the historical context.
